An October hello with a sound good-bye

It's amazing looking back at previous Octobers. Meeting Robin, house-sitting at Dad's, Sox wins and losses... ah, memories.

What should I remember of this month?

Well, working at the Cummings Center is very taxing. Opening this art gallery is hard-work and I feel like a small business owner, without the financial burdens. It's a mixed bag, especially with personalities clashing lately. I suppose it just shows passion...

Patrick and I are no more. I am well aware that this trend seems to be cyclical in that I end up with him again, but after being lied to on an anniversary weekend, I feel that I must move on. This is very fresh information and while I'm hesitant of even posting it, I think validating and acknowledging it is a step in the right direction.

My uncle's house burnt down and some of his dogs died. It was horrible, and still is. Here's a video:

School is school: fun at times, mostly boring and always involved. Recently went to a round-table discussion involving various prestigious members - Harvard professors, Globe journalists and House Representatives, oh my! I have to write an article about it, so I suppose I shouldn't scoff too much.

My last article involved profiling Obama and McCain, taking out any bias. I did this skillfully, but certainly used my tools of PR to showcase some quick facts about each candidate. Speaking of which, how about SNL and their sudden resurgence (thanks in large part to my favorite Tina Fey!). Obama seems to be leading far and away with some polls suggesting he his up by 10%. Good luck Mr. McCain, and even more luck to you Mr. Obama.
