Wow, firstly how old is that picture?!? Oh well I like it and even though my hair is way short now, it's staying. So I know I've been gone a very long time. My appologies. Actually I figured this would be the best way to keep everbody up to date on the latest news. I know most of you are thinking "What news? What the heck is she talking about?" Chill. For those of you who don't already know I am seriously thinking about going to Africa next year fro three months on a missions trip / volunteer opportunity. I am going alone and meeting a family friend out there. It is still a long ways away, but some how 8 months seems too short a time for everthing that has to happen. The biggest step is getting connected to an organization out there. Oh yeah and "there" is in Kenya. Lisa, my contact, has already spoken to a couple of organizations so now I have to wait - which is so hard. (Not a strong point of mine). But if this whole thing does happen I will most likely be posting info here for everyone to read instead of writing a quadzillion emails. Plus you never know when the electricity will go out there so it saves me time too. But I would love to hear from all of you and of course I'll emails back to people who write me and answer questions. There won't be too much news for a while, but I'll do my best to keep this updated. Yay! I'm back!
