the fortune cookie

so by now we have established that I am a total romantic. The following is a ture story based on actual events (awww...)
So, as every good sappy story starts, there was this boy and this girl. Now they didn't know eachother very well. Sure, they had talked...but only in casual conversation. And as all good stories go, there was this night when things changed. Call it what you will, but the coincidence of them finding themselves at the same party is minimal to overall ironic workings of the world. They talked, danced, and had a good time...but then it was a party and that is what you are spposed to do. The next day they decided to meet to get homework done. They had a class together. And now that the ice had broken between them it seemed okay to study together because home work is much more tolerable in good company. They meet and grab some dinner at the ever popular panda express. The air is thick between them...awkward. They had fun he night before, but there was no party atmosphere now. Each is interested, but unsure of the other. They are caught in the delicate dance of first impressions. There conversation was pleasant, if not somewhat forced. They finished there meal and prepared to go finish homework. The boy paused to open his fortune cookie. As he read the fortune a smile appeared ever so discreetly on his face. Without a word he handed it to the girl. She blushed as she read the words, "Stop looking into the future---hapiness is sitting right next to you."

Loves, everyone!
