So after work tonight I decided to attend the staff Christmas party after all. By the time I got there some of the staff, and saddly most of my favorites were already gone. Poor Natelie, who would best be described as the office dyke was totally shit-faced and trying to swerve any female thing that moved. I didn't have the time or supplys to get faced, which was good since I hardly know most of these people. All in all a great way to end the day. Seeing so many coworkers in a party atmosphere was very telling. I got tipsy but never drunk. Really I should not have driven home, but Marvin (my boss and host of the party, who graduated with me) 's house is very close to mine. This time of night on a Sunday in Novato I was not really in danger of endangering anyone or getting pulled over so I just bit the bullet and went.

Even though I was hired after secret Santa's were chosen I still got to leave the party with a small heart shaped thing that is plastic the colour of amber with a real beetle inside it. I would call that a score alright. While I have to bed down shortly, this was really the way to end the day. Too bad my eight hour closing tomarrow will not have a party at the end. I think that I am coming to terms with the whole Starbucks schedualing policy of fuck-you. If luck is with me, I will either get my mornings back soon or learn to accept the night shifts in stride. Christmas shoppers not withstanding, the night shift just moves soooooooo slow.

Please forgive me last long post, it was reactionary, but shifting from relatively happy with my lot after so long to back to being permanently annoyed is rough on me.

Now, I am going to try to sleep while the many beers are still working. Cheers to all of you.

My only regret is that I could not drunkenly lay someone, but since Joe Leska married his boyfriend that is really never going to happen ever again. I also hope that Natilie drunkenly forgets the whole thing and doesn't have to come to work fretting hard feelings from anyone. There is nothing bad being said or thought about her, but with her personality I doubt that she will believe that. The older coworkers are veterin partiers and since not a person barfed anywhere it shows that they were on their game.

Night all. Hope your Sundays ended as nicely as mine did. I am sure that I will be back to being morose tommorow. Till then,

Love and Kittons!
