I suppose that I will update, instead of just cutting and pasting things into my journal. Well I am here at work (as a receptionist at the Office of Community engagement on UALR campus). I haven't done anything today, because my boss was out of the office at the blood drive so I have been reading my book Responses to 101 Questions on Hinduism it's really good but all the information is VERY dense. I have also been playing Alchemy in which I got to a "Level 3 Alchemist." I just checked WebCt and found out that I made a 93% on my college algebra test! I did better then the rest of the class! I am very proud of myself as I totally suck at algebra and hate it tremendously.
So at my new job I get to drive the golf cart around. That is super-duper fun. I think that just may be the best part about this job (oh and the really easy work part!) I also found out that my boss lives right across the street from Jordan's house on Locust St. in Conway. She says they are pretty good, not too loud! But she thinks she heard someone puking in the yard last Friday night! I told her to tell me if they were being too rowdy.
I had a really good birthday. I got a sweet ass 30 GB Mp3 player, it's not an Ipod but I love it just the same. I don't know if I will ever fill it up. I also got a really pretty Buddhist bracelet and toe ring from Maggie, a really pretty black tanktop from Suzanne, a Target giftcard from Emily, the 2nd season of Charmed and a spa gift certificate from Joe. So I racked up pretty well this year! I didn't even really ask for anything because I couldn't really think of anything that I really wanted; except for that Mp3 player. I had some people over for my birthday which was really awesome. I got to see Dori again so that was good. We all drank champagne and I ended up having my mom taking care of me at 2 in the morning while I was barfing. That next Saturday, I felt like shit.
I'm trying to think of anything else new going on with me. Well I miss Adrienne being here in Little Rock....*cry cry* She needs to move far, far away from that nasty Conway and move back to Little Rock and live with me. She told me that UALR got facebook so that is pretty interesting. I suppose there will be a lot more people from Parkview that we know on facebook now.
