rest in peace, my dear little baby love, Daphne
We had to put Daphne to sleep yesterday. It was all very sudden and she was fine until the day before she died. actually, she had a bad heart condition but we didn't know it. I know we did the right thing and she's in peace and in the light now, but I miss her terribly and it was all so sudden. She was only 4 years old. I recently lost her baby tooth I'd been keeping, but despite that, I know I was a pretty good kitty-mama, and that she had a good life. She was just such a big part of my life, it's going to be extremely different without her in it every day. I mean, without her in it the way that she was in it, in her little white and black cuddly kitty body, as opposed to how she will be in my life from now on -- in the sunshine, in little spring flowers, and in anything bright and good. bye bye little girl. i love you. i'll see you in the sunlight.
