don't yell if you don't hear from me til 2008

'twas fabulous seeing many of you my beloved friends all at once in NYC on Sunday, however, that was but a short happy prelude to my current Week of Doom -- I have several term papers due on Monday as part my management portfolio for my management class, plus a grant proposal due to be postmarked that same day, and on top of that there's school loan stuff to sort out (which is now last minute, of course), grades to get to employer from school (official ones, mind you -- they'll have none of this downloaded-from-school-website crap). And after this Week of Doom is the Holidays coming up, which may include a trip to VA to see my aged granny and definitely include a trip out to visit my sister and her family, all the while hoping she doesn't break up the family even further before I get out there, or while I'm out there, and preparing myself emotionally for the worst (i love both her and her husband and of course those adorable kids too) -- and I've got a WICKED COLD; being able to breathe properly & not sneezing every 20 seconds & not having a nose that runs like a faucet & not having to consume large quantities of various teas plus handfuls of zinc would be REALLY SWEET right now!

in other news, thanks carless_sam for this fabulous news story on the French underground (guerilla restoration unit: project Clock)!
