"one in thirtytwo? is that like one-thirtytwoths?"
....it definately does not seem like I had a weekend at ALL...probably because i spent most of the time working on photography! I spent all night thursday, from about 8-4 (in the morning) in the darkroom printing.......printed 3 pictures (2 of them being reprints). Then, Friday, I woke up around 1, cleaned up a little bit, and then proceeded to spend the ENTIRE day (until about 10) in the darkroom....got a lot done though....spot-toned 3 pictures, developed a roll of film (that actually came out! yay!), and printed 4 pictures. Oh, but i wasn't finished then.....because on Saturday, I had to go BACK to the photo lab, spot-tone the rest of my pictures (4 of them), walk to the art department (MFA.....the photo lab is in Renshaw) and cut my matboard, then walk BACK to renshaw and flatten all my pictures before mounting them on the freshly cut matboard....then walk BACK to MFA to put all of my pictures into frames (i think that took about from 2-6...relatively short day).....and THEN...today, i had to wake up and BE at the art department BY 11 so that we could set up our gallery show........and that went from 11 to about 3ish.....LONG day. Everything turned out pretty nicely though. I'm really excited to have the show up too.....it was looking REALLY good.
Because I had gotten pretty much everything finished on saturday, I figured that it would be a good time to celebrate....since i pretty much have been lame this entire semester and not really gone out to do anything fun, i decided to go over to dani's and watch "The Butterfly Effect"....although, we didn't finish it because their new roommate (for next year) invited us over to her boyfriend's house for a little party. being the lame hermit that I am, i didn't really want to go....but....i also didn't want to be at home, and they were all going....so i decided i might as well too........and you know what? it was a blast! a little foosball (sp??), a few drinks, and sitting on top of (HUGE) motercycles and 4-wheelers talking to random people.....it was awesome.
now that I have successfully wasted all my time....i think i should try getting some homework done.....we'll seethough. I just feel like being a huge bum and doing aboslutely nothing except eat candy (too bad i don't have any skittles).....hmm.....what to do, what to do?
sidenote: it amazes me howquickly the weather changes! i mean, it was absolutely beautiful earlier! sunny and hot!......and now it's POURING rain! it's craziness, i tell you...CRAZINESS!
