It's times like this when people pull together. I keep thinking about the Kaisers. I know they're going through a terrible time right now, but in some ways they're lucky. They have hundreds of people mourning with them. If anyone of them need something, no matter how small, anyone of us would try to be there as fast as we could. As jerky and loserific as the senior guys can seem sometimes, they're good guys. They're there for a friend in a time of need and sorrow, and that's and awesome friend! Our band family has really pulled together to take care of someone. I just pray that we can stay close this season, that we'll remember how fast someone can go. Maybe we can keep this spirit we have in a tough time, cherish each other more, and appreciate each other's unique personalities. Tina would've have wanted it. She wanted our band to run that way. She loved each of us, and always wore a smile. Even at the cold, rainy, miserable football games, she was happy. I'm going to try for that attitude this year. If it's raining, at least it isn't snowing. Some people have never been to a football game, so I won't complain when it's mind-numbingly cold...
I know it will be hard, but it's my personal goal. Well pictures tomorrow, then practice.
