I think I'm applying to ISYM. It's not exactly Interlochen, but I can't really afford that, and I would really only go for the oboe intense program they had last year that has been replaced with the same thing for viola this year. So. I have to break the news to Naomi, who will probably not be happy, as she likes the finer things in musical education. But. I have to do something over the summer, so this is it. Maybe I'll get lucky and know people. But I don't know who goes annually or what. Ignore that. That makes me sound like a scary person, kind of.
And if I don't get accepted, I'll scream. That would be more than enough to be the last straw, as if this year hasn't been enough, in that area.
Anyway. Competition sucks. Hard.
Time for bed now that I've turned late arrival sleeping in time into regular day sleeping time.
Also worth noting: I want my SRT back sooooooooo badly!
