Just noticed the polling cards for Mays local council / voting reform referendum. I'm a bit undecided on the old referrendum as it happens. I'm all for voting reform but I'm not keen on AV. But do I settle any reform over the reform I want. Of course, this was most likely the Conservative plan all along - a no vote for AV will obviously be billed as a yes vote for first past the post.
Then again, it probably doesn't matter what I do, given about 20% of the population will bother to vote on it anyway and most of them won't understand what they're flaming well being asked.
Democracy. Bah.
