The Decent - Saw it with the UK ending, which is just two minutes extra right after the north american one. Having been told where it cuts off for the wimp ending, it strikes me that it would be corn-fusing to see it that way

Oh! I didn't know there was an alternate ending! But hurray for YouTube, I think this is it. [Obvious spoiler alert for anyone who hasn't seen the movie.]

It's more that we over here got the alternate and that's the original, but I'm picking on wording, which is an annoying habit of mine. I hate that because I live in north america I keep on having to get pussy happy endings for movies that were never meant to end happily. As long as that keeps happening I'll keep downloading the original versions of the movies instead.
