It started raining today for the first time since I've returned for the fall. I suppose the clouds in exchange for clear sky was a good foreshadowing. Too bad I didn't take that seriously. So I was biking around Corvallis in the rain. At least I took a sweatshirt

I think what he's saying is that he denies the existence of verbal or written communication. Ironically, he used words to convey that belief.
