As a military sevice member, I am seriously thinking of using the loophole I have as a dual military mother to get out. Many other soldiers are not as lucky, and don't have such a loophole, and now they're stuck.
I cannot imagine that man, who has no experience in leading, and no understanding of how the military operates, being my BOSS. He. calls. the. shots. for. the. army. AND THE WAR. This is not just a matter of my life and death, but those of millions of other soldiers and their loved ones.
His plans for Iraq and Afghanistan are based on a timetable that is heading towards disaster. He visited those countries for the first time this year during his campaign. Mccain was in the military and actually endured being a POW in Vietnam for years.
Let the facts speak for themselves. If your life depended on it, who would you choose to lead you?
And even if I mange to get out, my husband doesn't have the same luxury. I'm stuck with this commander in chief who doesn't know the first thing about the military. Know who that reminds me of?
