Nora Singing at WRUR
Nora was on the show "Open Tunings" today. DJ Scott Regan plays some really cool stuff. We got there early and he played some Kaki King (who is in Rochester on Sunday), Madeline Peyroux, Leonard Cohen, Beatles, Paul McCartney, and Death Cab for Cutie while we were there. Scott's a cool guy because he doesn't have that over-modulated DJ persona - just a friendly guy who knows some good music (or at least music I like). Of course we couldn't hear it on the radio, but Cindy and Katie heard it and said it sounded real good. Nora spoke with Scott about her music and played four of her songs live on the air for about 1/2 hour today. She did a great job.
