hey
it's been a while and i'm actually not to keen on this whole lj thing anymore, but i haven't been able to sleep friggen AT ALL so here is a rambling update lightly seasoned with desperation and sleep deprivation:
went to miami for a good 10 days with brian and his parents. got really tan, saw the most beautiful mansion/palace/italian villa i could ever have imagined--called the vizcaya, swam a lot. brian got attacked by a killer crab! haha he also got really sunburnt and then ate his own skin. i had to fight for my life in the pool so that he would not drown me and eat mine too. haha aren't we a fun couple?
back to work yesterday. i'm pretty pissed because there's this one really bossy annoying lady who works there with me who seems to think i'm 15 years old and that it's perpetually my first day on the job. actually every adult there seems to think i'm like a junior in high school, and it bothers me a good little bit, mostly because that goes hand in hand with some of the adults who work there also thinking that i am dumb. come on, i don't LOOK young-- i look like a blonde and smiley female, and people always friggen equate that with inexperience and immaturity. kel haaaaates it.
i love my sister so much. i love my brother a ton too, but he is pretty absorbed with everyone but his family and doesn't let me in on his life at the moment. jessie has nothing to hide. she tells me basically everything (more than i'm even interested in knowing) and is such a little success: sweet but really determined; modest and unconcerned with fitting in, yet really well liked (she has 3 of her best girl friends spending the night right now and they are so damn adorable); smart and studious in equal parts; so loyal to her family and good friends; and just plain cute. i just love her so much because i know she's not gonna screw her life up, ever. i know things like that are impossible to predict (and knock on wood!), but i can seriously just tell. she'll prove me right!
about a month and a half now til i move in with kel and meghan! i'm psyched, but really pretty scared too. i don't think i've ever taken a risk this big. nah, definitely never have. worse comes to worse, though, i can always hide away in my cute-as-hell bedroom. i can't waaaaait to decorate that sh!t.
and apparently i'm still awake, so here's that survey everyone's been filling out:

i just got back from miami, but there is a family outing to st. augustine lined up, and i'll definitely be in buffalo in july to see the mclean clan

expensive brown damask ones that are still in the package until i move in. right now i sleep on miscellaneous junk.
