As Baco pointed out, we made some sort of pact (I think it might have involved blood, did it involve blood? Because it should have) to update once a day for a month. ...Which I guess is 30 days. I'm hoping that it'll, I dunno, -- actually, I don't know why. Maybe that's what I'll learn by the end. I know I had some reason, something about improving quality of life, or boring people, or cows, but whatever.

A Really Lame Story
This semester, I'm taking a course about parasites to fill up one of my requirements. My advisor lured me with the promise of a professor who is one of the top parasitologists in the nation (plus, parasites sound kind of cool.) This might explain some of his oddities.
He's got four rings and two bracelets. Apparently, one of the bracelets he had engraved by a jeweler with a parasite one of his grad students discovered. Apparently, this same parasite looks a great deal like a sperm and an egg cell meeting up. On the second day of class, he drew a model parasite on the board for us, told us we would get to look at it in lab, and promised, "This one's beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous!"
