Mid-book review
I just realized why I'm having difficulties reading through Runemarks. It's not because it's poorly written, it's not because it's boring -- in fact, it's exciting and I really want to know what happens next! It's just that every chapter we switch to someone else's POV and that's one of my major pet peeves with epic stories. Same problem I had with The Wheel of Time series. (Plus, I always am tempted to skip ahead to later chapters to find out what happens to the characters I'm currently interested in. FAILURE AT READING. D:)
I really like the characterizations of everyone, though, and the main character is female! And awesome! And like I said, I really want to know how it ends, so I am definitely going to keep at it.
