Oh Korean Pop...
So I went to the Taste of Korea dinner with the International Club. Those guys are ridiculous. At the beginning though, they played a bunch of Korean Pop music videos, which were a lot of fun to watch. So I subsequently got Wedding Dress by Taeyang (who I think was in Big Bang as well) stuck in my head and HAD to find it (of course I didn't know the title or artist initially). Man, Korean Pop music videos are so much fun to watch. I was watching this one though with Sunita who was sitting next to me and it is so tragic. They say "bros before hoes" but Taeyang's bro, was totally not down with that. Taeyang kept trying to romance this girl and his buddy kept on intruding. The whole situation would probably have worked out better if he had shallower pockets (or maybe they had too much stuff in them?
*also just to say, the International House kind of fell through (as I felt it would two nights ago). Leigh (who's president of the asian community coalition) will keep me in mind if an opening comes up, but I have a vague idea of how these things go and I don't really think I will get a spot.
