Ok, here's the rundown....

Things are changing rapidly and while I'm on the other side of the country I figured I'd let you kids know what I'm up to. Will and I officially spent our last night on the bus last night. It's starting to really set in. I am currently in San Francisco, sitting in a coffee shop where they buy motorcycles and sell espresso. This town is weird. Will and I got a weekly rate at a cute motel a few miles from the place we're subletting for a month. We've stayed there before so we know it's not sketchy, it was the best deal we could find and it's near Haight and Ashbury, this really eclectic area (if you've been in chicago, think Belmont but more hippies and street kids) near the Golden Gate Park. It's a sweet scene. Then I move into our new room on the 18th, a house with two housemates and a dog in the Presidio. It's in the middle of a park so it's quiet, with lots of trails but still a short walk to the bus into the city. There's an old abandoned hospital down the street which freaks Will out a little- I think it's exciting. Adds character. THEN we'll start looking for holiday work and are working with this guy that wants us to tour festivals and promote his own festival all spring and summer (most of which is in the Midwest!)

Whew.

I'm probably leaving out a lot. You know how to reach me if a)this makes no sense because I'm typing this all out in a frantic hurry while I still have the internet or b)you need more details or c)you miss me terribly. Any combination is acceptable. I'm not sure what my holiday plans are- if anyone has some extra money and wants to help fly me home then by all means, do. Otherwise... I'll figure something out but this living in San Fran thing could end up costing a bit.
