As I kept reading about all the happiness something in the back of my head was going "this is just a dream" and a larger portion of my brain was telling that other section to keep its thoughts to itself and "of course this ISN'T a dream!"

That small part of my brain won and I'm so sad for Sandor right now. Maybe it was a premonition!! That's the only thought keeping me from bursting into tears right now. This was a wonderful story!!

HAHA, don't you hate that voice of reason? It's such a mood killer at times. :P

Well.... The dreams in GOT are often prophetic. So we can hope, right? *hands you a tissue* Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked it. :)

Ohh...gosh *clutches heart* Wow that just broke my heart so hard. At the same time it leaves me hopeful that all that he's witnessed in rest is the promise of what is to come, an unspoken symbol to hold on that beyond the darkest hour is the dawn.

I think the most powerful part was of Sandor's fears of becoming a father. I love how they do fight about it and it is a division between them, but how in the end they work it out together. How it makes them stronger both as individuals and as a couple. Not to mention the bit where it is Sansa who is protecting him from his fears and his broken soul enabling him to finally heal from the damage he's endured.

Such a beautiful tale thank you for sharing this with us!

Wow, thank you so much! I like to think that, just maybe, the dream was prophetic. Given the nature of the show, I doubt it, but we can hope, right?

Oh, thank you. I can't seeing him wanting to be a father, but we hear Sansa talk about kids more than once. So I thought that that would be interesting. I'm glad that you liked that part.

Thank you again!

Oh me too! *crosses fingers*

I think that was one of the things I loved most about this tale is the fact that he doesn't want to be father, I really could see him being like that too, you know not out of disdain for children but out of fear. How Sansa heals him of this lasting scar too...

//edit:// I was reading in the comments that you might continue this?? Oh please say yes! *begs* I'd love to read more!

I honestly can't see him wanting kids. I feel like that would be the LAST thing he wanted given what has happened to him. I've seen people saying that they want him and Sansa to have a bunch of "pups," but I can't see it being that easy. If it happens, it'll take a lot of work. Or... that's how I feel anyway, lol.

Oh, no. I'm sorry! But this is just a one-shot. I really don't know how I could continue it. :(

The ending broke my heart into teeny tiny itty bitty pieces... ;__;

No... *sniffle* it's bitter sweet. Anyway, he was dreaming of that situation so it MIGHT happen in the future. However, no matter how much I just love the fluff-ful Sansan scenarios, I can't let myself believe in them outside this community (since we all know how Mr. Martin likes to give his characters happy endings... as much as Ilyn Payne loves to sing :P). My theory is that he is going to die saving her... *sniffle*

Awww, I'm sorry! It wasn't meant to be painful though. So, I guess... mission accomplished, lol?

Yeah, the only reason I was able to write a somewhat happy scenario for these two was because it was a dream. Otherwise... no. But still, they deserve at least a LITTLE happiness, even if its just a dream. Hopefully they'll get a wee bit in the end.

Oh no! Don't tell me that! I really hope that that doesn't happen. :'(
