Genius Lives On
Yeah, I studied and studied for that exam, and came out with an 80. The class average was a 58, and between this exam and the first one, the class I guess is starting to feel threatened that I might just wrecking ball the curve, especially knowing the fact that my third exam is usually the highest grade. But for once, all my point losses was from me just not remembering concepts or formulae, as opposed to making the constant idiotic mistake here and there. I was glad that I was almost completely right on the mechanism question (except I forgot what the high pressure approximation was), and that, he guaranteed, we'd see again. Well, the mechanism concept, at least: not the actual question. If you were to calculate my class grade right now, using percentages and weights, like he does, I've got a 39, and that's with 6 quizzes and three hours of exams remaining.
I can't rest on my laurels yet, though, since the next exam covers Quantum Chemistry and Mechanics. That'll be a very rough exam, to be sure. But that too, will be given Hell.
So yes, I have a plan for tonight. My mother's coming to the campus, and I am going to treat her to dinner. I probably won't go home with her afterwards, because I need to procure props for Sunday. Well, ok, just one prop, since I have the camera...*Checks the exposure count on the current roll*
...fantastic. I think it's up on its maximum. Damn. That means I'm going to have to start a new roll, and it'll probably take forever for me to go through the whole thing (I'm not a consummate shutterbug). Eh, oh well, I'm sure there's things I can take pictures of for some reason or another. Maybe I'll try to make a photomosaic of something. *Laughs* No, I have not the artistic insight for something like that.
Oh well, it's the weekend, and Monsieur Doovide boit de l'alcool maintenant. Soon enough, he'll be Doovy O'Tippley. ^.^ So glad, I can't wait for this weekend's amounts of leaguery, as it were. Until then, I might as well do work.
