Cleaning Fiesta!
I was fully intending to sleep all afternoon today after getting home from school when I had a sudden rush of energy and an inexplicable desire to clean. These moods come over me maybe three times a year - I'll be home alone (I hate cleaning when my parents are home :P) and kinda lethargic and bored when suddenly I'll leap to my feet and say "I know! I'll clean the bathroom!" And then I'll *actually do it*!
Here's what I got done today:
1.Dusted/vaccumed/organized my room. Quite a relief, as it was getting to be a bit alarmingly messy in here.
2.Cleaned the bathroom (tub, sink, toilet, mirrors, floor)
3.Vaccumed the hall and dusted/organized the bookshelf in it.
4.Dusted/cleaned my parents' room.
5.Swept/cleaned the dog's dishes and the mat for them/did a mound of dishes in the kitchen.
I like cleaning alone 'cause you can listen to music as loud as you want, which makes it much easier to bear. Plus you have that lovely sense of accomplishment once you're done, which wears off quite rapidly as the house reverts to chaos three hours later.
Not much else to report... I'm off to Colin's tonight with Kayla to housesit and to try not to get eaten by Bono the Woman Biting Monster Dog. He's such a sexist beast - apparently he hasn't bitten a male in months, but he bites every girl he meets.
Lalalala...maybe I'll go have a nap.
