Secretary.
So I really, really meant to go to bed early last night--at 3:00. But then I just HAD to press Channel Guide one more time... and I found "Secretary" on IFC. It's got Maggie Gylenhaal in it, 2002; it's about this woman who cuts herself and gets a job as a lawyer's secretary and they somehow end up enjoying a sadomasochistic relationship. And I was pretty much mesmerized with the darn thing, in a "WTF IS GOING ON" way. So I went to bed at 5. Again. x_x
But I DIDN'T have weird dreams! I was proud of myself. You'd think after watching a weird movie like that, I would've, with some of the crap I've been known to come up with. But I didn't. So yay.
Mom just got home with Katie from school. She was incredibly naggy before she left. Apparently I don't spend enough time with them. Admittedly I've been in my room a LOT lately. But when everyone else either A, has no phone or B, has NO TIME to do ANYTHING outside of work, and I have NO social life because of it and I've been in the same house with the same crazy family nearly all day every day for THREE MONTHS... then yes, the frustrated 19-year-old is going to be a recluse. -.- And I am SO TIRED of her thinking she had to make a supportive comment every time we're together and a song about love comes on the radio.
ANYWAY Katie's got new glasses that I'm being yelled at to go look at. So. Cutting this short. Point of the whole thing was I really liked "Secretary." XD
