I need some new music recommendations, badly. Today's walk will probably bring me to the end of the 500 Greatest Classic Rock Songs playlist I've been working through. I don't think I can listen to the Death Proof soundtrack again, or any more Simon and Garfunkel, and I've finally listened to Back to Black enough times that I've wrung every possible drop of catharsis out of it so I desperately need something new.
If you've got any music recommedations to share, drop them! Any genre or era is gravy, but what I really need most is stuff that's uptempo and good to walk to. As far as my tastes go, melodic and lyrical are usually the criteria for my favorite stuff but I'm open to anything. I love:

And just in case anybody is looking for a recommendation of their own, there's the aforementioned Amy Winehouse, who is crazier than a bedbug but has a set of pipes that are amazing (and no, I don't mean those tiny little crackhead chicken legs she stumbles around on) or, for something completely different, there's Matisyahu, the Hasidic reggae artist. That reminds me, I've got to get Live at Stubb's onto my iPod!
