Back pain - I was in a car accident in 2000 and had six months of chiropractic AND physical therapy. It has only been this past year where I can say I can walk extended periods of time without severe pain in my lower back. I had a pinched nerve too, and it just took time. Lots of time. I know that's not what you wanted to hear. But the chiropractor definitely helped my whiplash and upper back stuff.

Everyone says that back injuries take a long time to heal, but thanks for the supportive comment. We are still looking for ways to ease discomfort in the "mean time," which, as you point out, could be years.
