I wouldn't worry about the key to the mailbox..if you're in an apartment building the super can get you another one, probably. Actually, don't worry about anything, even though you probably want to really bad. I know how that is..but there's nothing worse than being alone (at least for the moment, anyway) and worrying. :(

a funny thing

The funny thing about the mailbox key is that the manager told me that it was his only key, so I should make a copy and give that back to him. However, I was having trouble getting around to it because the mailbox lock was rusted open, so the key was useless. Now, I can still tell him that and try to get a new lock, but he'll obviously assume that I just want a new lock because I lost the key. That'll teach me to actually get around to doing things. Or else the airline will mail me my keys and I won't learn a damn thing.
