But... your investments are not all in dollars, right? I mean, as far as economic forecasting goes, I kind of get to say "I told you so" to the world in general. I just thought this would take longer than it did.

I don't think you're too focused on the economy, rather I think most people aren't focused on it enough.

I agree that President Bush wouldn't do what Dave did, and try to do something good for the people of this country. I kind of feel like he knows that these problems are so unlikely to affect his family so he just doesn't care about them. If he would have to deal with the repercussions of this on a personal level, he would undoubtedly legislate differently. As it stands, it seems like he just wants to perpetuate problems as much as possible for whoever replaces him next January.

Sigh, this is not a fun time for sure.
