Landlord, Work, SMS
I haven't gotten much sleep the last few nights, and this is taking its toll on my abilities to think properly. I wrote a post about what happened with my landlord, and it was so incoherent that I set it to "private."
So, because I'm having difficulty forming sentences, here's a list of things that have happened over the past three days:
1. Met the landlord, who gave me back less than half of my deposit. Said I used too much electricity. Then he called the police on Fouad and his friend.
2. After dealing with the police, Fouad, Fouad's friend, and I went outside to discover that his illegally-parked car had a boot on it. $115.
3. Met Fouad and another of his friends on Saturday for drinks. Had a fantastic time and sensed this friend, Omar, was smitten with me.
4. Sunday, received SMS from Omar asking me out. Did not respond.
5. Had to work on Sunday because the directors were here from out of town. Had a lavish dinner with them last night. Cost was $1400 for 9 people.
6. The Omar SMS thing blew up around midnight last night, after I staggered drunkenly from the lavish dinner. Not pretty. All of it.
God, I'm so tired. I might skip my Czech lesson tonight, which would really suck, but I can't even continue my list. Falling asleep here.
