BARACK OBAMA WILL EAT YOUR BABIES
Today my sister Sara forwarded me some "OMGZ! Obama is Muslim and he will KILL US ALL!" email, which showed me that she's turning into some kind of Neo-Con Republican. I preferred when she was apathetic.
Anyway, I wrote back to her to say:
1. Obama is not a Muslim; he's Christian.
2. Muslims do not want to KILL US ALL.
3. I'm dating a Muslim--you did know that, right, Sara?
Actually, maybe she didn't. In a webcam chat, when I said that Fouad was from Algeria, which is in AFRICA, she seemed surprised that he's not black. Maybe the whole Arab thing passed her by, even when he spoke a little Arabic at the request of her boyfriend Greg.
Of course, not all Arabs are Muslims, but it is the assumption, isn't it?
Anyway, I hope I didn't rip her a new one in my email response, which I CC'd to half the people who received the original Obama email, but if I did, maybe she'll take her head out of the old one.
