The First Good Event of 2007 (Revisited)

Milo ate the stem of a spinach leaf yesterday. It was the first time he ate, without the aid of Leon or me, in nearly a week. I took it as a sign that he will get better, and Leon and I intend to pick up some softer fruits (oranges, grapes, bananas) tonight in the hopes that Milo might be reminded that eating doesn't have to hurt

I'm feeding that little fool right now. I stopped at Fred's Market and got some banana. He only took two bites, but still he does seem to be slowly improving.

Two bites without encouragement? I mean, were you holding him and shoving it in his face or did you just put it in the cage?

I put it right in front of him in the cage, but I didn't shove it in his mouth or anything.

How much would you say he ate, like, in grams? ;)
