Have any of you ever tried to vacuum seal your out-of-season clothes, linens, or other household fabrics? It seems like such a cool space-saving idea, but I can't picture this working, especially not with our vacuum.

What did you do when it was time to come home? I almost tried that once, until my mom mentioned that most hotels don't have vaccuums.

I was living with a family, and my host mom had it.
I had actually bought some that are meant for travelling, which you "roll" then I bought the vacuum ones in France.

there were also a lot of jeans in there, and those don't shrink much, I think that if you had pillows or blankets that would make a difference.
