Halloween's almost a month away
My friend (Caroline) called last night, after all. I went over to her apartment and we drank until we were giddy. Then we started talking about the annual Halloween party that the architecture school throws and what we're going to dress up as. We can come up with some pretty great ideas but none of them are actually doable.
It's harder than hell to find good Halloween costumes. And, trust me on this, I know. I was just at two costume shops with Caroline. We're trying to start early so that not everything is gone, but we're struggling. The stuff she tried on wasn't slutty enough for her taste. I only considered trying one one costume because I want something recognizable, feminine, and not slutty--just kind of glam sexy.
Anyway, I almost tried something on but then realized that I couldn't have worn a bra under it. Of course, I could wear a bustier or rig up something with fishing wire... ;) Basically, I refuse to go braless.
And I don't want my ass to hang out when it's going to be thirty degrees in a tent.
Anyone know of some super terrific and fantastically inexpensive costume shops that'll make me look like a rock star? :)
