Bra Size

Because of my recent weight loss and my desire to wear clothes that fit, I recently attempted to get my measurements. What I was most interested in was determining my bra size, because we all know that some obscene percentage of women doesn't wear the right bra size and I refuse to be one of these women (any longer).

So after measuring myself, I found this handy bra size calculator and I entered in my measurements. The calculator then gave me a popup proclaiming that I was a B cup. What?

I haven't worn a B cup since junior high, so I knew this caculator had to be wrong. I decided to just use a sizing chart and so I added five inches to my body measurement to get my band size and subtracted that from my bust size to get four inches or a D cup. Again, what?

I haven't worn a D cup since high school, and I haven't lost enough weight for that to be anywhere close to accurate. Clearly I'm doing something wrong here. Either that, or I've somehow not noticed that my current bras are loose and flowing about my waist.

So Saturday, I'm going to go and either get properly measured or at least try on some bras. I like the idea of being a D cup but I'm just a busty girl and I'll have to lose quite a bit more weight before my girls sit happily in something so small.

Until then, does anyone know what I've done wrong?
