Myspace

I was thinking about creating a Myspace account at some point in the near future, but then it occurred to me that I'm not entirely sure what Myspace is. I know that it's a Friendster/Facebook/link to your friends social network thing where you can post a blog and put up pictures. Is there anything else?

And does someone with Friendster, Facebook, and Livejournal accounts need one?
