Leon and I purchased our wedding rings today in San Francisco. They have to be cast and have the stones set in them, but they're otherwise ours.
Right now we're looking at rings online to verify that our price was reasonable. We've looked at rings for months, and I felt confident that we'd found what we wanted at an acceptable price. But Leon and I sure love to second guess ourselves. We're a match made in heaven that way.
Anyway, I thought I'd share the rings. These aren't exact, but the woman's ring is fairly close to what I chose.
This is mine (more or less):
And this is somewhat like Leon's, except his won't have diamonds and it won't be a matte finish and his will be wider and it won't be titanium and the top of his will be flat... Yeah, not such a great match. All that's really alike is the sapphire and the silvery metal. Use your imaginations.
Only three and a half months until the wedding. I've picked out nearly every vendor that I want, although I need to make several of them official, sign the contracts, and all that jazz. I nearly had a panic attack over these rings (although this was largely influenced by a Macy's perfume fiasco that had happened less than an hour before), but I'm beginning to feel how expensive this wedding will be.
Is it too late to elope?
