When it rains...
Where did everybody go? I have almost 60 people on my f-list, and I only see about 8 of them posting xD Not that I can talk about regular posting, nor am I actually complaining... its interesting to me though. LJ does seem to be dying a very slow death. Everyone seems to be migrating to one site or another. I imagine I will too eventually... I'm just too lazy and resistant to minor, pointless changes to do it now.
It is raining like a son of a bitch outside. I went downstairs to get something and see that rain is running down the windows surrounding our front door... which typically isn't supposed to happen, and I don't think ever has, seeing as we have a pretty wide porch. o__O I open the door and look out, and rain is running out of the ceiling of the porch and down the windows. I don't know where the hell its coming from or how much damage that's doing, but holy shit. The awnings are also threatening to fly away, and getting those suckers up alone is nigh impossible, so down they have to stay for now. This is a 100+ year old house made pretty much entirely of wood, so if anyone could please pray that our house doesn't fall apart that would be wonderful xD I'm happy that we're getting storms though, we've been needing it- everything was turning brown or wilting up to this point. Its odd that they're so severe already though, we typically don't get storms like this til July :\
