The State of the Paper (and other stuff too)
Okay so sent off is my paper (such as it is), and my deeply apologetic and shamefaced "author's note". Note to self, there is a reason why you aren't supposed to do homework while on shift! Of course just to add more stress into my day my boss, ie the actual head honcho himself (John) came in and talked my ear off. And of course people want things I can't give them, like a picture of a keyboard so they can make a document pointing to a symbol on the keyboard? What the fuck? That doesn't even make sense to me, the keys are representations of the thing they do when you press them down, so I would suggest if you want that symbol...press that button? Also seriously she is talking about uploading to a wiki so I have no idea what she is talking about but if there are fancy symbols involved she is making it WAY to complicated.
Spoke to parents, father wants to read big paper once I finish it, told him it would be boring, he claimed no of course not...talked to him for five minutes...could actually HEAR his boredom. Whatev. Mother ended relativly non-stressful conversation by telling me to[pack up non-essential shit early and ship it off leaving only stuff I need]which is exactly what I told her I was gonna do like months ago and she was all like "no no don't obsess about packing yet!Just wait till school ends" [less than a week before I need to be out] and now she is all "don't wait till the last minute" And I wasn't even annoyed. Seriously, just said, you're right mom, I'll do just that. I just don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
