Berkeley > COM

Well, folks, I am finally done with COM.

Today I finished my last final (calculus) and turning in my last essay. I've graduated with an AA in Business Admin and an AA in Liberal Arts & Sciences. I got three small scholarships last week and I have the highest GPA out of the transferring class. Not too bad for two years at a place I never wanted to be.

It's strange to think that two years ago I was in debt to my sister (for my prom dress, no less), looking for a minimum wage job, dating Josh and having no idea what my major would be. I'm glad things have changed . . .

For those of you who are wondering where I'm going next . . . I'll tell you! I am going to take a bubble bath and then read Harry Potter #7 in bed. Then after THAT, I am going to work full-time once again, until July 7. I start Berkeley on July 7, and I'll be there Mondays & Wednesdays until mid-August. I'll still be living at home, so I can work three days a week and see all you lovely folks whenever I damn well please. And by lovely folks I mean Camilla.

When I'm not working fulltime or commuting to and from Berkeley, I plan to have lots of fun. And learn to drive. And find an apartment in Berkeley for the fall. And learn to ride a bike. And actually answer my phone when people call me. And go running with Conner. And eat lots of Silberman's peach ice cream.

In the fall I'll quit my job and move to Berkeley. I don't have a place yet, but I have a prospective roommate and we'll have to find an apartment over summer. It is so exciting! I'm so glad COM is over and I can get on with the things I actually want to do with my life.
