blog about how wonderful i am
well, i wore the wrong underwear with today's outfit. but other than that, i'm very impressed with myself.
i'm doing superwell in school. i'm taking 8 classes/21 units and getting a's in all of them. i had an econ test yesterday, and i got a 100% on it (before the curve, 114% after the curve) and my teacher is so impressed. i went to his office to see what i got, and he said that he's never had a student get 100% on a test. ever. go me.
then i went to see my art teacher, because she commented on an essay saying that i should see her in her office :/ weemp womp. i thought she would tell me off, but instead she asked my permission to send the essay to the artist that i was writing about. strange . . . but cool!
also i'm tutoring business (my major) this semester, and probably again next semester. my econ teacher asked me to tutor econ and business. and microecon. argh. so it looks like i'll be tutoring three classes in the spring. but i guess that's ok, because i won't be applying to college.
which brings me to my next point. i'm applying to colleges. and i hate my personal statement. whoops. my coworkers are trying to get me to apply to harvard. one of the secretaries is actually calling and bugging the admissions office at harvard. ya, that's not happening.
so i turn 20 in three weeks, and i'm thinking you should celebrate with me. i kinda wanna get all of us together and rent a cabin in tahoe, but i don't know if that's gonna happen. i don't want to have to deal with inviting some people and leaving others out, since cabins to rent have a max. capacity of about 12 people. gr.
my birthday will probably end up being super lame because my birthday day is a thursday, and is going to go something like this:
7am: wake up
8am: catch bus
9am: do hw
9:30 - 11:00am: go to econ
11am - 12:30pm: art history
12:30pm - 1:30pm: tutor business 101
2:00pm - 5:00pm: bio lab
5:00pm - 6:00pm: eat/homework
6:00pm-9:00pm: business law
like every thursday.
worst birthday ever?
and the next day, a friday, will look like this:
5:00am: wake up
6:00am: get picked up
7:00am: arrive at oakland international
8:30am: get on plane to LA
10:00am: drive to santa ana office
11:00am: take holiday photo
1:30pm: cheap dinner
3:30pm: drive back to airport
5:30pm: get on plane
7:00pm: get back to oakland
8:00pm: go home. eat. sleep.
and, of course, that weekend will be spent studying for econ, bio, art history and calc finals. and doing a take-home business law final.
so over christmas break we must fiesta. oh, yes. we must.
