(no subject)
since everybody seems to be posting right now, i guess i'll be just like all YOU GUYS.
my weekend was actually fun, instead of being filled with homework like it otherwise would have been. i went to MOMA with Nicole and dad, then Michelle bused into the city and met us at Boca de Beppo, a restuarant with the dumbest name ever but delicious food. i told the waiter that it was dad's birthday dinner and that he is a fan of public humiliation, so there was singing as well. after that, we thought about dessert, decided it would be too painful, and then went to that new mall on mission and fifth. it's really big, and really not in my price range. except for a $2.66 skirt from H&M. yes. then we continued on to pier 39, even though we were all exhausted and full, and i spent lots of money on wizard of oz stuff, which we won't talk about. and there were sea lions.
sunday was even better, since it involved stinson beach and feeding chips to hot guys. and rubbing oil all over the driver. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE ;D
monday was the neighborhood picnic, so i made connow come and eat lunch with my family. i don't think he was TOO bored. after he went home, i got to do homework. and sleep. yay.
today i had a meeting with some scholarship person here at com, and she pretty much guaranteed me she'd give me about a thousand dollars from her department. she also gave me the names and numbers of other people who may give me money - so i have lots of 'i'm poor' meetings coming up, which will hopefully be followed by 'i'm rich' checks.
as for the rest of my life, it's pretty much the same. i'm still in school. i still work too much. i still have broken ovaries. i'm still in love with connow. i still buy too many shoes. i still get all A's. i still use cheap shampoo. i still get sunburnt. and my aunt is a semi-famous folk singer in England.
and, as if it would surprise any of you, i have to go now because i have another meeting at 2:00.
