It has begun...
The movers have just arrived to start prepacking the house. I was able to get everything prepped for them, with exception of the bedroom and the bathroom counter, by midnight last night. They will be prepacking today and monday, and loading the truck on tuesday, for our household to begin its journey to Seattle.
Tomorrow, I need to make sure that the stuff that needs to be unplugged or is still in use is ready to be taken care of monday. This means doing a last load of laundry, emptying & cleaning the fridge (deep freezer is already defrosted & cleaned and ready to go). I also need to make a trip to recycling, the dump run was complete on thursday (in the rain i might add), and a trip to Sally Ann and the food bank. The car needs to be emptied, because no personal possessions can be in it when it gets picked up next week.
Now, if only the people who said they'd get stuff that's not going with us would come through with their offers of homes for food, booze, brewing equipment, etc... If they can't get that done by C.O.B. sunday, then it's going to the parents house (or the food bank) and no one will have access to it till we come home for x-mas.
