my four day weekend update
So far out of the last two days of my "short vacation" i have gone to school both days at 10:00 am for silver knight crap and EHS garden work. fantastic, huh? yeah i thought so. anyways, my boyfriend is currently in colorado so i figure i have nothing better to do than to shop, watch movies and go out with my friends. OMG! Let me tell you! I got accepted into UM!!! and guess what? they gave me 75%!!! i'm so happy! i can't explain it. i just have to get into their Dual Admission Honor Program for biomedical engineering. I took my application to UM yesterday. i hope they accept me- they probably will. but there's always that chance that ... ah, they'll accept me. lol so yeah, i was all excited when i got back from doing garden work and opened my mail. they even gave us a little stickie for my mom's car that says "proud parent of a miami hurricane" or something like that. i'm so happy! i dunno what i was thinking when i said i wanted to go to UF. i've wanted to go to UM since i was in like 1st grade! i've practically been a Cane all my life and now it'll finally be official. i'm overjoyed. lol finally. i dunno. like i was expecting half from them. i guess they really must want me. that's good! lol and when i get into the biomedical engineering dual honors thing their bound to give me more money, so i believe. i hope. lol i'm just excited cause i love the University of Miami and even though it costs a freaking arm and a leg just about, it's gonna work cause they give me $21,300 a year so i'm left paying like $7,500 but with Bright Futures and all the scholarships i've applied to, i should be squared away. plus, if i do have to pay anything my mom's gonna pay it for me so i don't have to go away. i'm made in the shade. how nice. what a relief that i don't have to worry about crap anymore. ::sigh:: i just need to get into the dual honors thing and i'm all set. ::jumping around:: oh and i bought lots of stuff today. i bought new jeans and a belt, body lotion and sprays from bath & body works, jewelry, a zach thomas jersey and UM stuff! lol i got a little UM backpack, a white jersey and a new shirt. i'm gonna wear full out UM clothes this week. lol i'm such a nerd but whatever. You know how the rest of the top ten people are going to Columbia, Brown, NYU, etc? well i'm going to UM and i don't care two hoots what they think. lol i'm happy. anyways, i should go. see ya later!
