Monday-Tuseday
Got up at 9 o'clock Monday morning made several phone calls to switch my hours around at work and to post pone my PO meeting and to beg my mom to let me go with Briton to his dad's Air Force Ceremony any way, once i did all that briton can to get me then we went to his parents house to load up for the trip because we were all car pooling down there. we went to del rio and it took 5 hours to get there we left at about 12:30pm and got there a little after 5pm. about 2 hours left to go briton and i made a bet about what time we would get there "I WON" the bet was who ever one the other person took the first shot of tequila. we ended up taking the shot together.
once we got to Del Rio we meet up with his dad and grandpa because they were already there, put our stuff in our rooms then got ready for dinner in Mexico at "Manuels" at dinner there was so many people it was fun, Briton and I got Tipsy we had a shot of tequila, a pina colada, a hurricane, and some Dr. Peper tasting drink it was like a bomb only we droped amereto with flaming tequila poured on top into a beer. it was fun.
the next morning we "tried" to get up for breakfest but didnt quit make it we ended up waking up about 10mins before we had to walk out the door. but his brother and sister were later than us so its ok i guess. i didnt feel as bad.
The Ceremony was so good, his dad and the old lieutenant commander gave a really nice speech and roses to the women in there family. they did a cool official switching thing.
after the ceremony we went and ate lunch then took pictures by his dads plain then we went and saw his dads new office the took more pictures. then went back to the hotel room packed changed cause we got all dressred up "YEA". and then checked out and meet in his dads room left our stuff there and went shopping in mexico. yea we mostly bought alcohol about 15 bottles between us all.
getting back across customs was such a pain becasue come to find out if your from texas and your over 21 your only allowed to bring back 1 bottle per person and if you not from texas you can bring back 2 bottles. which is such crap in my option. it took over an hour to get back across but we did it and with all the bottles his dad and grandpa and some other air force guys came and helped us. we bet the system. haha i think its kinda funny and cant decide if i think its a good thing or bad that we bet it.
anyway once we got across we went and ate at this little mexican food restaurant and then on the road again back to austin. we left later than planed so my mom got a little mad at me but on well. i got home about 130am but we got back at like 1130pm.
Britons grandpa accidentally broke two of his bottles he got four. it sucks but its just licquor. alcohol. whatever. he and i went back to his place for and bit just kinda chilled then i went home...
During this trip the entire air force who meet me and his family all think that im his girl friend. :) we didnt tell anyone that but some how i kept getting introduced as the girlfriend so we went along with it. it was nice. i enjoyed playing the role.
I got to meet his mom, dad, sister, brother, brothers girlfriend, bob, and lura, among other air force men. I like his family alot there all really nice. his dad after the ceremony was like i get to give her a hug referring to me and was like i cant keep up with all of britons girls i said that i couldnt either. :) his mom and i both tripped over the same step by our rooms, i didnt really talk to his brother or sister that much, but they seem nice just quite. His Grandpa is so cool there was never a dull moment when you talked to him. I loved it.
Over all i had a really great time and im glad i got the chance to go with him.
