Nice things: Day 6
5 more nice things!
1. Creativity. Isn't it amazing what our minds are capable of doing. People can think of poetic lyrics that can move another to tears or they can write a joke that can have a thousand roar with laughter. Creativity is an amazing, magical thing.
2. Actually we're going to stick to the creativity theme tonight. Meals! think of all the different recipes that you've experienced. Thousands of different styles of pizzas, cake, souffle, marinated grilled salmon, glazed baby carrots, lasagna, truffle flat bread, ratatouille, mince meat pie, tuna sandwiches! Someone thought up every one of those! even if it was an accident when they followed the recipe incorrectly, it was a unique moment of creativity that brought us every food we have ever tasted.
3. Go ahead! Try to prove me wrong! Except you can't... not really. If you find fault in my logic, you'll be using your own creative workings. Creativity is everywhere. Usually we can say that something is so simple that we can do it in our sleep. Dreams! I don't know if creativity is "easy" but it's something that we can't live without. None of us want to have an empty mind.
4. The love of life and other things. I think it's fasinating that we, as humans, have evolved so much but still act hedonistic constantly. Some of us make the conscious choice to not reproduce but our bodies still fight for it. We act like animals despite our incomparable intelligence levels. The fact that all cultures still revere life even in the face of logical progression of thought. For example, multiple life sentences versus the death penalty. The costs are not well documented (I have no idea how that could be) but being literal and discounting state costs for defense costs in court, food and medical costs for one life sentence of 60 years cost more than ANY current means of execution. We could buy a new guillotine for each prisoner and still save. But we regard ALL life highly. It's so interesting to me and it's my own interest that I'm glad for.
5. Variety is my final thought for tonight! Human beings have such variety due to their creativity. People look, dress and act differently because of what they decided to become! Isn't it amazing what our creative minds and choices bring us. we have people with natural, unnatural and very unnatural looks. people with dare devil hobbies and people who think that electric egg beaters are too exciting for them. With this variety of people we all get to appreciate what makes each of them so special.
