I'm still here! :-P
Yes kids, I'm still here.
I just realized that I haven't updated in the longest time, mainly because I've been busy or I have been forgetting. I know, shame on me.
The last time I updated (with some sort of normal update) was Jan. 29th. . . so yea. Bear with me :)
But hmm, for the past few weeks I've been a busy bee.
Basically in early February I went to the Valentine's dance and had a blast there. . . and then I went to a little getty at someone's house for the Superbowl. I was happy that the Steelers won :)
Then the next few weeks were dedicated to getting rid of Girl scout cookies. . . I'm happy those are out of the way.
Then I hurt my toe really bad. . . (the more recent entry that made no sense lol.). . . and that got better.
That Saturday (the 18th), Mom and I went to Ann Marie's in Homestead and bought my prom dress. It's many shades of blue, with dark blue and silver sparkly stuff. And then I did nothing lol.
Last week was dedicated to Teacher Appreciation week with Interact, and this past weekend I spent the night at Ruthmarie's on Friday night because my birthday present from Ruthmarie and her family was my first facial. . . and OWWWW. But my face looks much better :) And Saturday we cleaned the van. . . and Sunday I cleaned my room. (I got this foam thing on my mattress, and WOW. I don't want to get up every morning now.)
But yea, life is pretty good. I mean it has it's ups and downs (yesterday was up, today was down lol.)
My family is fine, but my dad and I got into a petty argument last week and he supposedly thinks I don't respect him. . . yadda yadda. Rawr. Things between us are a bit heated at the moment. And my family is finally happier. . .financially! We aren't in debt, and my mom is starting to go job hunting. And I shall join her in a week.
And. . . school is. . . haha. Senioritis has kicked in. I apparently got honor roll from last nine weeks. . . but definately not this nine weeks lol. (Geology can go wack it.)
And my birthday is next Tuesday! I talked to my mom and sometime I'm going to open a checking account so I can put allll of my money in there (all of my $5). . . and what not. And I'm going job hunting so I can maybe get my license, and I have to pay for insurance.
This summer I'll prolly (hopefully) be working 2 jobs -- 1 at NOAA and one at FIU. . . Woot. I'd basically be doing the same thing at both places. . . QA/QC on coral reefs and QA/QC on canal waters. I'm gonna be a working woman. (And all of my money goes to college, car, insurance and rent. . . yes rent.)
And love life wise. . . I'm content with what I have. I mean it would be nice to go out with him, but I'm happy where we are. No commitment. . .etc.
And I must thank those who cheered me up, took me out, dealt with my crap, etc. I seriously love you guys.
Hmm, I think I'm gonna go read now. Mrs. Reb wants to kill me b/c I can't go on Friday OR Saturday to FIU MUN. It's not my fault I live in BFE and I can't get transportation. . .
March is going to be insane.
