Is there a way that I can make a post that is a "public" entry that pretty much allows anyone on LJ to read it except one or two people?

No, unfortunately, I've wanted to do that before as well.

The problem is, what happens if they just log out then view your page?

I doubt they would go to that much trouble. They have me on their friends list, so they'd see the entry on their friends page. I really want to avoid their comments.

sorry i am some random person on you page haha. you can do it.... it's the filter friend thing. check off every person you want to see it and leave those two unchecked.
