Soooo yeah, I finally got to see the two-parter, and was unimpressed. This season is really roller-coastery. Either the eps are brilliant or they suck ass. There's like...no inbetween.
But yeah, the acting was meh, the writing was meh, and wtouhsudai9 that mom made me wanna smack her. Way to pass around the idiot ball just to advance your plot, you guys.
But the worst thing is the end of the second part. And I'm not in denial, I tell you, because I have at least three good reasons why my boy Rory ain't dead.
1. The lovingly replayed scene of him putting the ring back into the TARDIS, plus the fact the ring was still there when they got back into the TARDIS (that scene was actually good).
2. How they kept shoving it into our faces that you're gone for good when the light eats you. GONE FOR GOOD, YO.
3. The most important reason! NOT IN A SHIT EPISODE. YOU DON'T KILL MY BOY OFF IN A SHIT EPISODE.
So nope, I'm not in denial. He'll be back and I'll be happy.
