today was a good day!

Today, while discussing cats and mice, Stina mentioned that she disliked mice more but would prefer a Cat Planet since she sees cats all the time. So I said that of course she does, because cats are samurai and mice are ninja.

This story needs told.Anyone got any ideas

Also, as for an idea, how about...once upon a time, cats and mice trained together, until a mouse (or cat, if you want to make cats the 'bad' guy) betrayed its master and fled with its brethren on the passing starship, stealing a sacred scroll. The scroll's the foundation to The Way, but one determined cat (or mouse, so long as it's the opposite species) says they don't have to rely on The Way. The time has come for them to stand on their own four feet and go forth on the lessons The Way taught them.

And this civilisation prospered greatly, earning the respect of many in the solar system, while the other fell into obscurity. Tales of their deeds and existence were used as fairy tales or warnings to wayward children that the [Bad Species] would come for them. And while [Bad Species] was indeed bad, having secretly lost The Way in a freak fire/meteorite storm, they've perverted what they remembered of The Way and maintain they ultimately do good, because if they didn't do what they did, the peace the solar system ultimately feels would never have existed in the first place.

But then...a chance meeting between a member of The Neo Way and The No Way meet while on a similar mission--and things are never the same ever again.

And hmm...I shall ponder this idea. Are they animal!animals or anthropomorphic?

Also also, do you have the songs Small Two of Pieces and Lullaby (by Assemblage 23)?

Hmmmm, no idea! Up to you! Whichever would work for the story, I think. Besides, if it's a sci-fi-samurai/ninja story, you could get away with anything. (plus I just made that all up off the top of my head.)

And sadly, I've never heard of that group! Sorry, never heard of either song... What're they from?

Small Two of Pieces is the end song to Xenogears. Lullaby is a song I thought I had that's by Assemblage 23. I really wanted to put them on my ipod but for some reason I don't have them on this comp and that makes me sad. ;_;
