Fichan gave me five things she associates with me. Here are my responses four days late!
Hinata
I'd like to say that ever since I first saw her I loved her, but while I thought she was adorable I also suspected she might be trying to trick Naruto in the Chuunin Exams. I of course realise how stupid that was, and I'm no longer 100% behind Team Seven like I was back in the day, but for at least two chapters I wasn't sure what to think.
That being said, I absolutely love her. I think she's beautiful and I love her character. I want her to succeed more than anyone else. She's stronger than she thinks and I think people sell her short, in-universe and as readers. I wanna have as much determination as her someday.
CCS
Ohhh CCS. My favorite shoujo--or at least, magical girl shoujo (Tutu is a close second). There is so much to love. For one thing I enjoy CLAMP and their art (THERE I SAID IT) and also Sakura herself. How can you not like her? She's cheerful and happy and afraid of ghosts and full of love and badass. And Syaoran is the most adorable thing evar.
I love the magic and the characters and the romance was very believable I DON'T CARE IF THEY STARTED OUT AS TEN-YEAR-OLDS. I love them and they fill me with happy happy glee. I don't even think I can describe it in words. And of all my "OTPs" Syaoran/Sakura are my true one.

OTPs
Hahaha, speaking of OTPs. I love them. I love pairings. I live vicariously through them. >.> I want to believe there is someone for everyone and that they'll be happy, and I don't care how childish a wish that is. Some drama is ok, but I don't wanna read about failed relationships. That's real life. I wanna read about two people who work together and need each other in ways friendship doesn't work. (Not to say friendships or gen is bad, but I like me romance.)
So I really don't like breaking up couples, and I usually ship canon pairs. There are very few canons where I'll ship peeps with multiple others, but even then within the different pairings I have a favorite I lean towards.
But really? I just want happy happy fluff. And this is why I can't quit shoujo.
incest pairings
...I wasn't aware I was becoming known for this. ^^; Hahah, but there are a few I like. My first one was Sara/Setsuna from Angel Sanctuary (yah canon!pair), but technically the two from Return to the Blue Lagoon count since they were raised as siblings. (I never saw the first one.) I just really like the wrongness of it (this despite my love of OTP fluff -_-x ). There's a taboo what makes it exciting, and to see people break that and take a deep familial love and turn it to a different sexual kind is interesting. By themselves family bonds are also interesting, but to see them warped so much is fun.
But I used to hate incest pairings and they totally squicked me. Especially twincest. But then I got more and more into fandom and saw different kinds of interactions, and then I read Angel Sanctuary and I liked how wrong and messed up it was that Setsuna wanted to bang his sister. They aren't my main ships at all, but I've come to not discount the possibility of more going on between two close relatives.
And while Hyuugacest (Hinata/Neji, at least) is incest I don't think of it as such. They're cousins and weren't raised to be close, so the taboo is more on their family dynamics and their feelings towards each other because of those dynamics. Also, not all cultures go EW at cousincest, although first cousins are a bit weird.
But Maya/Alexandro? TOTAL incest ship of yesplz. And despite it being twincest I still stand by the fact that it's less messed up than the pairing what followed. They had great chemistry and I loved the way they protected each other and you can't convince me that there wasn't anything more to her jealousy at his marriage.
And no, I don't want to do any of my family members.

Eeeee~ My childhood dream. I still love them and would love to dig one up at least once. I always wanted to be a paleontologist, ever since second grade. I think it's wonderful, these huge creatures that existed so long ago. They were beautiful and deadly and learning how they died--trying to find the reasons--is wonderfully exciting. I cry because I can't watch that new special about the new species they found. ;_;
But they totally gotta come out with more tv shows about dinosaurs. And if they are aliens what originally evolved from dinosaurs here on earth and can transform into their ancestral shapes with a special amulet/button thing that's even better.

...It amuses me that the incest one is the longest. ^^;;; And if you know what I referenced in the last one you get internet cookies.
